Mission Overview
Minesweepers competition’s mission it is mainly depending on simulating the real mine field -including the rough environment and some types of mines- each participating team will construct a tele-operated or an autonomous vehicle that should be able to search for surface and buried mines that mimic the anti-personnel landmines and unexploded ordnances, producing an alarm per each detection and aggregation the surface mines. The vehicle must be able to produce automatically a high-precision map of the detected objects without human intervention. The vehicle has to able to navigate through rough environment that mimics a real minefield.
The mission will have some differences for each class.
