IEEE ROBOTICS & AUTOMATION SOCIETY

The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society’s objectives are scientific, literary and educational in character. The Society strives for the advancement of the theory and practice of robotics and automation engineering and science and of the allied arts and sciences, and for the maintenance of high professional standards among its members, all in consonance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the IEEE and with special attention to such aims within the Field of Interest of the Society. Minesweepers competition was initiated in 2012 by IEEE Robotics and Automation Society-Egypt Chapter (2016 IEEE RAS Chapter of the year and 2012 Chapter of the year in IEEE Region 8).

IEEE SIGHT- SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP ON HUMANITARIAN TECHNOLOGY (SIGHT)

The mission of the Robotics and Automation Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (RAS-SIGHT) is the application of robotics and automation technologies for promoting humanitarian causes around the globe, and to leverage existing and emerging technologies for the benefit of humanity and towards increasing the quality of life in underserved, underdeveloped areas in collaboration with existing global communities and organizations.

AASTMT Alamein Campus

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport is one of the specialized organizations of The League of Arab States whose member-states are participants in the AASTMT. Since its establishment in 1972, the Academy has been involved in the various fields of education, training, scientific research and community service.

Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT)

The Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT) is a non‐profit organization affiliated with the Ministry of Scientific Research, established in September 1971 by Presidential Decree No 2405 as the national authority responsible for science & technology in Egypt. In 1998, ASRT was reorganized by Presidential Decree No 377 which defined its mission, function and activities.

Borg Al Arab Innovation Cluster

The Innovation Cluster Initiative (ICI), by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) from the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), is provided as an enablement factor for empowering innovation and entrepreneurship through the creation of public and private partnership (PPP).

Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-Just)

Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) is a research university with an ambition to cultivate an academic environment and become a benchmark for the Egyptian and African countries in education. It was first established as a bilateral agreement project between the Egyptian and Japanese governments in May 2009 and later in 2010, it was ready to accept its first batch of students and make the dream a reality.
