History of Minesweepers Competition in Egypt
Egypt has been listed as the country most contaminated by landmines in the world. It's the fifth country with the most antipersonnel landmines.
Along the 8 years of Minesweepers journey to raise the awareness of landmines problem, local rounds of the compititions have been hloding in Egypt annually since its first launch . In 2012 , 2013 and 2016 Egypt hosted the international competition.
